Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on late Monday that he is ready to discuss commitments from Ukraine that they will not seek the membership of NATO in exchange for the Withdrawal of Russian Troops and Cease-Fire and a Guarantee of Security of Ukraine.
In an Interview with Ukrainian Television Channel, Zelenskyy said,
“It’s a Compromise for Everyone: for the West, which doesn’t know What to do with us with regard to NATO, for Ukraine, Which wants Security Guarantees, and for Russia, which doesn’t want further NATO Expansion.”
The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy reiterated his willingness to have direct talks with the Russian President, Vladimir Putin.
The Ukrainian President said that it is impossible to understand the Right Intentions of Russia if they want to Stop War until he meets with the Russian President.
The Ukrainian President Zelenskyy assures that after a Cease-Fire and steps were taken towards providing the Security Guarantees to Ukraine, Kyiv will be willing to talk about the Status of Crimea and the Eastern Donbas Region which is held by the Russian-Backed Separatists.
