Ishrat Masroor Quddusi was born on June 18th, 1950 and has graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Law. He became an advocate in 1976 and practised at Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court mainly in Civil, Constitutional and Service matters for about 19 years.
He worked as Standing Counsel for the State of U.P., Central Government and U.P. Jal Nigam in the years 1987, 1989 and 1990 respectively. He was elevated as permanent Judge of Allahabad High Court on 18th April, 1995 and was transferred to Orissa High Court on 6th December, 2004.
He was again transferred to Chhattisgarh High Court on 26th December, 2010 where he served until 2012.
