Delhi High Court today issued Office order directing Subordinate courts in Delhi not to pass any adverse order in absence of Advocate and litigants is unable to join the online proceeding.

Court has observed lot’s of orders is being passed without hearing one party. On the recommendation of High Court Registry High Court has issued the office order for restraining subordinate courts from passing any adverse order in any circumstances where one party is not available.
Order reads,” Vide this Court’s Office Order No. 322/RG/DHC/2020 dated 15.08.2020, it was directed that the Courts subordinate to this Court shall not pass any adverse order in non-urgent/routine matters where the concerned advocate/litigant is unable to join the proceedings through video conferencing, till the time the physical functioning of the courts is resumed.”
