The Madras High Court on Friday permitted relief from arrest to Former Tamil Nadu Ministers K T Rajenthrabhalaji and V Saroja.

The Former Tamil Nadu Ministers K T Rajenthrabhalaji and V Saroja were accused for Job Racketeering during their tenure as Ministers.

Justice M Nirmal Kumar adjudicating the Court observed that their Anticipatory Bail applications are granted and further directed the Police not to arrest them till November 24.

It was highlighted that First Information Reports (FIR) have been submitted against Rajenthrabhalaji in connection to allegations stating that he had dodged money worth Rs 30 lakh from various people promising Jobs in Aavin, a co-operative Milk Producing Company owned by the State Government.

Furthermore, an FIR was filed against Saroja in connection to allegations that she had committed fraud by cheating various people to the tune of Rs. 76.50 lakh promising noon-meal Organiser Jobs in the Social Welfare Department of the State.

While Rajenthrabhalaji claimed that the cases had been registered against him due to Political Enmity, while Saroja alleged that the complainant was her close relative and the FIR had been registered due to Family Enmity.
