Delhi’s AAP Government after considering the situation for reopening of the Spa centres informed the Delhi High Court that a final decision will be taken soon under consideration of the respective authorities.
The Spa centres have been closed for months now due to the wake of the second wave of Covid-19.
The vacation bench headed by Justice Rekha Palli was informed in this regard by the Delhi Government while taking up the pleas seeking directions for grant of permit for reopening and functioning of the Spa centres in Delhi, like gyms and salons.

On behalf of the Delhi Government, ASC Naushad Ahmed Khan presented the report before the bench informing that a final decision is expected to be made by the concerned authority.
Noting the above-mentioned submission, the Court suggested that, “The Government while deciding to reopen the spa centres, must also consider the conditions that only vaccinated employees or clients are allowed to enter the Spa centres. The factor regarding curtailing the number of persons using the Spa centres at a time may also be considered by the Government.”
Further, the matter will be heard next, on 27 July, along with a final decision report.
Earlier in a clubbed petition regarding the same subject matter, Delhi High Court granted time to Delhi Government to take instructions and inform the Court about its decision on reopening spa centres in the national capital.
