Ten Republican Attorney Generals have filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court to seek reversal of the order given by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
The Republican alleged that the Pennsylvania SC had allowed the mail-in ballot counting of the votes received after three days of the election in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.
Furthermore, they even alleged that this could aggravate the risk of absentee ballot fraud.
The Trump Campaign and the Republic party of Pennsylvania think that this gave undue advantage to the opposition party.
The US Supreme Court has asked the State of Pennsylvania in its interim order to set aside the mail-in-ballots received post 8 pm on election day.
During a press conference, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt said, “We have to ensure that every legal vote cast is counted and that every illegal vote cast is not counted.”
