The Supreme Court has initiated contempt proceedings against the Supreme court advocate Prashant Bhushan for his tweets. Prashant Bhushan Reportedly attacked the Former Cheif Justices of India By saying “the four previous Chief Justices of India each played a role in destroying democracy in India in the last six years”.
The Tweets were made by Prashant Bhushan while the photos of sitting Chief Justice SA Bobde of riding a motorcycle gone viral- he was photographed on a Harley Davidson in Nagpur last month.
The Supreme court also initiated contempt proceedings against Twitter India in the same matter and asked why the tweets not disabled by Twitter by own.

In recent times Advocate Prashant Bhushan on various instances made comments on the Top Court. He also made statements relating to the Bhima-Koregaon case.
