Delhi Police arrested two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists for planning a major terrorist attack in the National Capital.
Delhi Police Special Cell foiled a major terror attack in national capital and arrested two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists yesterday.
Delhi Police officials said, a trap was laid near Millennium Park in Sarai Kale Khan around 10.15 pm on Monday night and arrested the duo.
“2 suspected militants who are residents of J&K have been apprehended along with 2 semi-automatic pistols and 10 live cartridges,”.
The two suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists have been identified as residents of Jammu and Kashmir Abdul Latif Mir son of Sanaullah Mir, is a resident of Pala Mohalla in Baramulla. He is 22-year-old and Mohd.
Ashraf Khatana, son of Bashir Ahmed, is a resident of Hat Mulla village in Kupwara, who is 20-year-old.
In the intial interrogation Delhi Police special Cell found two suspected terrorists had previously attempted to go to Pak-occupied Kashmir (PoK), which was foiled by the Indian Army. They were planning to escape to PoK via Nepal after the attack in Delhi.
