The Division Bench of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavili dismissed the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) making plea regarding construction of boundary wall around the property of Waqf in Begumpet.
The Petition is filed by S.V. Ranga against the permission granted to the Waqf board for building a boundary wall around the property of Waqf.
The Counsel representing Waqf Board submitted that title of the land on which boundary wall is constructed is not in any dispute.
It was further submitted that Petitioner is making wrong submission regarding defective title of the property and it was a personal issue which cannot be brought as a PIL by the Petitioner.
Court rejected the PIL without considering any question and observed that in Waqf Act alternative remedy is given which can be availed by the Petitioners.
