A Court in Rajasthan’s Bundi District has issued an Arrest warrant against Former Union Minister Bhanwar Jitendra Singh and two others in a Forgery Case.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bundi, charged Singh and other two Accused under Indian Penal Code Sections 420 (Cheating), 467 (Forgery), 468 (Forgery for the purpose of Cheating), 471 (using a forged document as genuine) and 120 B (Criminal Conspiracy).
Former Union Minister Bhanwar Jitendra Singh is held liable of fraudulently, and to gain an unfair benefit forging his uncle’s signature to transfer his properties to himself.
The issue pertains to the Ancestral properties of Royal Family of Bundi.
Bundi’s last king, Maharaja Bahadur Singh, had two children, Ranjeet Singh and Mahendra Kumari.
Further Ranjeet Singh had married but had no children while Mahendra Kumari married Pratap Singh and gave birth to Bhanwar Jitendra Singh and Meenakshi.
Furthermore, after the Death of Mahendra Kumari, Jitendra moved the Court for division of properties.
Then in 2005, a Local Court divided the property equally between Ranjeet Singh and Jitendra Singh but the division could not take place after Singh reportedly appealed against the Order and got a Stay.
In 2017, Delhi resident Avinash Chandra Chandna Alleged that he was in good relations with Ranjeet Singh as he also breathed his last at his residence. He also claimed that Singh had transferred his properties to Chandna in March 2009.
Moreover, Chanda alleged that after Ranjeet passed away, Jitendra created a trust with forged signatures of Ranjeet Singh in backdate of May 2008.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate Court highlighted that no original copy of the trust deed was provided to the investigating officer but a report by a private forensic laboratory authenticating the trust deed as genuine was submitted.
Further the Court ordered the Arrest and that the Accused to be presented before the Court on January 6, 2022.
