President Ram Nath Kovind will lay the foundation stone of the Uttar Pradesh National Law University and a new building complex of the Allahabad High Court on Saturday.
It is officially released by President’s Secretariat, “The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, will visit Uttar Pradesh tomorrow i.e September 11, 2021 to lay the foundation stone of the Uttar Pradesh National Law University and new building complex of the Allahabad High Court.
The new premises of the Allahabad High Court will have around 2,600 rooms for court lawyers, according to the Uttar Pradesh government, which has released Rs 6,000 million for the entire project.
Confirming the President’s visit, ADM City, AK Kanojia earlier this week said, “Though we are yet to receive the minute-to-minute protocol related to the President’s visit, all the preparations required for the visit have been made.”
Further as per the statement, the President will also visit the library room of the High Court Bar Association this time.
The said university is being constructed in the Jhalwa area of Prayagraj. It is also expected that Chief Justice of India (CJI) NV Ramana, along with other senior judges would come to grace the foundation-stone laying ceremony today with his presence.
Further Union law minister Kiren Rijiju, UP governor Anandiben Patel, and chief minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present .
This is the second visit of the President in the last two weeks. Earlier in August, President Kovind visited the state wherein he addressed various public outreach programmes.
In the end of the June, he had visited his native village Paraukh in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur Dehat district and interacted with old friends from his school days and his early days of social service.
