On Monday, a Man and a Woman reportedly hit themselves on fire in front of the Supreme Court. Panic ensued outside Gate Number D of the Apex Court after the two attempted to enter into the premises.
In the footage, a group of men can be seen putting out both people’s fire. Meanwhile, the Police Officers were observed dousing the flame-engulfed lady with water. As the flames die down, the woman falls on the ground.
The young boy appears to have burn injuries on his leg as he sits on a bench and wraps himself in a thick blanket. Neither of them has been identified yet.
Immediately, both of them were sent to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for treatment.
After the incident, the Police force quickly secured the area.
Further investigation is underway.
