In a private ceremony that took place in London on 3 September 2023 Sunday, former Solicitor General of India Harish Salve, 68, exchanged vows with his partner, Trina.
The event was marked by a heartwarming moment captured on video, where Salve was seen tenderly kissing Trina’s forehead as they stood on a staircase.
This union marks Harish Salve’s third marriage. His first marriage, spanning an impressive 38 years, ended in divorce in June 2020 with his wife Meenakshi. Together, they share two daughters, Sakshi and Saaniya. Subsequently, Salve entered into matrimony with Caroline Brossard during the same year.
Harish Salve, a prominent figure in the Indian legal landscape, is known for handling high-profile cases at the Supreme Court of India. Notable among these is his representation of Kulbhushan Jadhav, who had been sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on charges of espionage. Salve’s dedication to justice was evident when he chose to represent Jadhav for a symbolic fee of just Rs1.
Salve’s legal prowess extends to a spectrum of significant cases, including the Krishna Godavari Basin gas dispute and the infamous Salman Khan hit-and-run case. His exemplary service to the legal profession led to his appointment as the Queen’s Counsel for the courts of Wales and England in January.
The intimate wedding in London saw the presence of distinguished guests, including Nita Ambani, former IPL chairman Lalit Modi, and his girlfriend Ujjwala Raut.
