The Delhi High Court was evacuated on Friday morning after a bomb threat was received via email, officials said. The message, sent to the registrar general at 8:39 am, triggered immediate precautionary measures by the Delhi Police, including a full-scale search operation inside the premises.
According to reports, judges were alerted about the threat, with some courts rising around 11:35 am, while others continued proceedings until noon.
The incident comes just days after similar bomb threat emails were reported at the Delhi Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) on September 9. In recent months, several schools and educational institutions across the city have also received such hoax threats, leading to heightened security and vigilance by agencies.
