Delhi Government after demand by Bar Council of Delhi, Extended the Registration Deadline for The Chief Minister’s Advocates Welfare Scheme under which Delhi Advocates can get Insurance benefits.
The Chief Minister’s Advocates Welfare Scheme announced by Kejriwal is a Scheme that has a laudable objective to provide insurances for thousands of Advocates in Delhi and has provided relief and succour to them especially during the pandemic.
The New Circular States, “All interested and eligible advocates, who have not yet registered under Chief Minister Advocates’ Welfare Scheme, may kindly get themselves registered under this scheme at the website www.cmaws.delhi.gov.in, as the date has been extended up to 24.02.2022.”
“With an intent to ensure your registration under Chief Minister Advocates’ Welfare Scheme, lists of all the Advocates, who were members in the Chief Minister Welfare Scheme-2020 for Medical Insurance and Term Insurance Policy, have been forwarded to all the Bar Associations in Delhi, to enable the Associations for confirmation to the member, who wants to enquire about their status.”
