The High Court of Andhra Pradesh issued notice and gave a sensational verdict in ‘Mission Build Andhra Pradesh’.
The High Court has issued notice to IAS officer Praveen Kumar – an officer of Mission Build AP, who filed a false affidavit.
The High Court expressed its anguish over the submission of the false affidavit, further ordering to file a case under the charges of contempt.
The Court has sought a reply within two weeks.
It has also dismissed the petition filed by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
The High Court had also commented on the situation where intervention in the working of the judiciary was observed. It was outraged by the remarks made by the petitioner.
The High Court has adjourned the case till February 2.
Mission Build Andhra Pradesh the state government’s project was cleared by the AP Cabinet in 2019. It is about selling the unused government lands at a rate as per the market for getting funds for flagship schemes and development projects.
