He has Completed his college Education from Yashwantrao Chavan College, Sillod. His Father is Nabi Abdul. In 1984
Abdul Sattar won the Gram Panchayat Election in Sillod. In 1994 he became the Mayor of Sillod City but he had to step down as Mayor in 1996 because of the Shiv sena – BJP Alliance.
From 1994 to 2019 he was the Member of Indian Nationalist Congress. In 2019 He Joined Shiv Sena Party. He also held the Post of Minister of Animal Husbandry.
Currently he is the Minister of State for Revenue, Rural Development, Ports, Khar Land Development and Special Assistance, Maharashtra.
