10 New Judges– 5 Advocates and 5 Judicial officers were appointed by the President of India to the Telangana High Court.
The Advocates and Judicial Officers who are appointed as Judges of the Telangana High Court in the order of their seniority are as follows:
1. Shri.Kasoju Surendhar alias K Surender, Advocate
2. Smt. Surepalli Nanda, Advocate
3. Shri. Mummineni Sudheer Kumar, Advocate
4. Smt. Juvvadi Sridevi alias Kuchadi Sridevi, Advocate
5. Natcharaju Shravan Kumar Venkat, Advocate
6. Smt. Gunnu Anupama Chakravarthy, Judicial Officer
7. Smt. Maturi Girija Priyadarsini alias Priyadarsni, Judicial Officer
8. Sambasivarao Naidu, Judicial Officer
9. Anugu Santhosh Reddy, Judicial Officer
10. Dr. Devaraju Nagarjun, Judicial Officer
The names of 7 advocates and 5 judicial officers were recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium on February 1 for elevation as judges of the Telangana High Court.
At present, the Telangana High Court has 19 judges against a sanctioned strength of 42.
With the new appointments, the vacancies will reduce to 13.
