The Bombay Civil Court ordered temporary restraint on access to a game named ‘Selmon Bhoi’ due to its resemblance to Salman Khan.
The game was developed by a company named Parody Studios Pvt Ltd.
Salman Khan had earlier filed for Injunction against the company in Bombay Civil Court.
The Court observed that “When the plaintiff has not given any consent for installing, preparing and running such game which is very similar to his identity and the case which was against him, certainly his right to privacy is being deprived and is also tarnishing his image”.
The Company has been ordered to remove the game from Google Play Store and all other platforms where it was made available.
The game Selmon Bhoi involved driving cars in a strange planter and killing aliens and certain animals using the car.
The Court has also restrained the Company Parody Studios Pvt Ltd from making any kind of derogatory remarks against the actor which can cause harm to his or his family’s reputation.
