Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a Indian actor who appears in Hindi films and Web series. He made his debut with a small roll in movie Sarfarosh in 1999.
He is best known for his acting in Lunchbox (2013), Manto(2018) and Raman Raghav 2.0. Nawazuddin was Awarded with National Film Awards in 2013 for Gangs of Wasseypur, Talaash, Kahaani and Dekh Indian Circus.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui had to face criticism for his biography- An ordinary Life: A Memoir. In 2017 his former girlfriends Sunita Rajwar and actress Niharika Singh accused him of misrepresenting facts in his biography.
After heavy criticism he announced he is withdrawing his biography.
Minor Child Molestation Case
On July 27 2020 Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aliya had filed a complaint against him and his three brother (Fayazuddin, Ayuzuddin and Munazuddin) and his mother Mehrunissa Siddiqui accusing them of assaulting her and molesting a minor child in 2012.
A FIR was registered under section 354, 323, 504, 506, 34 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 8, 12,21 of the Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
