Chudasama election case – In this case Minister Bhupendrasinh was of illegally invalidating postal votes in2017 Assembly election from Dholka constituency . The issue was raised by his rival Ashwin Rathore a candidate of congress.
The H.C. held that “ Returning officer illegally rejected 429 postal ballots during the counting of vote while the victory margin was only 327” hence the election was held invalid.
