BACKGROUND – Ram Nath Sharma, a former judge born on 05 November 1904 in poor family in the United Provinces of Agra and Oudh.
UPBRINGING & EDUCATION – He did B.A from Lucknow University in 1925. He had also completed M.A with honours. He had a good knowledge in Sanskrit. He joined the Indian Judicial Services as a munsif in 1931.
He became Judge of Allahabad High Court.
WALK OF LIFE AS JUDGE– He joined the Indian Judicial Services as a munsif in 1931. Eventually, he became a Judge of Allahabad High Court. He also took part in the Indian Freedom Movement close at hand with Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose and Jawahar Lal Nehru.He retired from Lucknow bench of the High Court in 1966.And also, he was believed to be the oldest pensioner in Uttar Pradesh.Later, Justice Sharma moved to Gurgaon with his son Ramendra in 2005.
He was supercentenarian, died on 01 December 2015 attained the age of 111th Birthday.
