Myanmar Junta Court postponed giving its Verdict on a Trial going on against Aung San Suu Kyi who is Accused of importing and possessing walkie talkies Illegally.
A Myanmar Junta Court was due to pass Judgment on the Charges of possession of unlicensed walkie-talkies and also a set of signal jammers, against Aung San Suu Kyi. The Charges individually and respectively, carry Penalties of maximum three years and minimum one year in Jail.
Aung San Suu Kyi was found with the aforementioned equipment during a Raid by Soldiers and Police of the Military-controlled Government. While under Cross-Examination, some soldiers and police officers involved in the Raid did admit that they conducted the Raid without a Search Warrant.
Aung San Suu Kyi has been under a house Arrest and Detention by the Military-controlled Government since February 1st, 2021, when general of the Military strategized against her and her Government in order to end the country’s brief democratic regime.
In the beginning of December 2021, Aung San Suu Kyi was Jailed in an Order for four years, due to being found Guilty under Charges against her for incitement against the military and also breaching the Corona Virus restrictions imposed in the country. This Conviction of the Nobel Laureate was highly criticized by the international institutions.
The Judge of the Court concerned in the matter, Adjourned the Trial till December 27th, 2021 without any kind of explanation for postponing the Trial.
