The Delhi High Court issued a notice to CBSE in response to a petition seeking clarification on the evaluation process for private class 10th students.
Inquiring about CBSE’s position, Justice Prateek Jalan of the High Court of India said, “When are you going to publish the separate system for private students?”
The Court was considering a plea filed by the mother of a private candidate for the Secondary School Certificate Examination, also known as Class 10th.
The petitioner is concerned that, despite the fact that the CBSE cancelled the examination in April 2021 and students were given a pass, no notification was provided on the rules for the marks or results for private students who are neither registered or related to any schools.
The petitioner states that she made a representation to the authorities on the matter, but no response was obtained.
The case would be heard again on July 29.
