The Bar Council of Kerala has designated October 5, 2023, as a day of protest in response to the vicious assault on Adv. B.S. Prakash at the Nedumangad Court complex on the previous day.
According to reports, Advocate Prakash was physically attacked by an individual who had appeared as a witness in a case. Following the adjournment of the case to a later date, the assailant, identified as Shajahan, went on to assault his own attorney, Advocate Prakash.
Subsequently, the Nedumangad Police arrested Shajahan.
A notification issued by the Secretary of the Kerala High Court Advocates Association has called upon all its members to gather at the main entrance of the Kerala High Court at 9:50 AM today (5th October, 2023). This gathering aims to express the Association’s strong protest against this brutal attack.
