Advocate Prithviraj Jadeja has been elected President of the Gujarat High Court Advocates’ Association (GHCAA).
Jadeja, who previously served as Vice President of the GHCAA, was acting President of the GHCAA after former President Asim Pandya resigned due to opposition from majority lawyers to his proposal to include Gujarati in the Gujarat High Court’s official language.
The bye-elections to the post of president occurred on November 25.
As per being chosen as President, Jadeja offered his abdication from the post of VP.
On Tuesday, the Managing Committee met and decided to appoint Advocate Rasesh H. Parikh as Vice President until December 2023.
